DiSC is a theory that was originally developed in 1928 by psychologist, William Moulton Marston. It is based on the work of Carl Gustav Jung, a psychiatrist and psychoanalyst, who created a groundbreaking model for human behavior in his 1921 book, Psychological Types. Dr. Jung recognized that people can be divided into four main behavior styles. Marston, based the DiSC theory from the work of Jung. In 1928, Marston published a book, Emotions of Normal People and named the four main behavioral styles D, I, S, and C.
D-style (Dominance)
I-style (Influence)
S-style (Steadiness)
C-style (Correctness)
Extended DiSC is a self-assessment that measures how an individual prefers to interact with others. It creates a common language and a self-awareness to better understand ourselves and others. The online DiSC questionnaire takes only 10 minutes to complete. After completion, you will schedule a session with me to go over the results.
